You must also register for the conference at www.sspdconference.org/registration by the deadline of 7th August. Online registration is now open www.sspdconference.org/registration

Upload Video Presentation Tuesday 1st September 2020

For those of you who were accepted as a Poster presentation - you are required to upload a pre-recorded video of your presentation.

The presentation can be recorded by any of the co-authors and will be available during the original dates of the conference and on-demand after the conference concludes. We will follow up with more information about opportunities to interact with attendees for questions and answers.

We request that you prepare and upload a video of your presentation, comprised of a brief introduction with a webcam, if desired, followed by voice over slides for your presentation. This is a requirement for your paper to appear in IEEE Xplore. Please note that the file must be a video file in MP4 format. Please do not try to upload Powerpoint or PDF files. This video should be up to 5 minutes long.

Please upload your video by going to EDAS (https://www.edas.info/); Go to My...>My Papers; Click on your paper title; Upload your MP4 video file to your paper record via the "Virtual Presentation Upload" option.

If you have been accepted for a live presentation – you will be required to prepare a presentation for the online meeting and present it. We hope to publish the SSPD Programme shortly so you can see when you will be presenting.

Please note that for both oral and poster presentations, your work should explain the research but also should explain the impacts of the research and how this research can be applied in a defence context.

In order for videos to be verified by the technical program committee, we ask you that you please finalise and upload your video by 1 September.

There are several video conferencing tools available to easily record a presentation.  In this method, you can show your face via webcam (if you’d like) and display your slides as you talk. You can use any meeting software as long as you get a good quality recording and your final file is in the MP4 format.

As a reminder, videos that are not received by the deadline will be considered no-shows in accordance with the IEEE non-presented paper policy.

We look forward to making SSPD2020 a success within this virtual conference format.
